The Intersectional MLK: How “Beyond Vietnam” Informs Today’s Movements

Join an in-depth conversation about Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence” speech — days prior to the 50th anniversary of that underrecognized but historic speech. The March 29th national call (beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET / 12:30 p.m. PT) hosted by the Fellowship of Reconciliation, “The Intersectional MLK: How ‘Beyond Vietnam’ Informs Today’s Movements,” will feature four distinguished presenters with deep knowledge of Dr. King, Dr. Vincent Harding, and the meaning of that landmark address on our continuing work for justice, peace, and nonviolent social change: Dr. Lili Baxter, Ms. Aljosie Harding, Rev. Anthony Grimes, and Rev. Phil Lawson. Brief bios for the speakers and other information about the event are provided on this online registration page: http://bit.ly/MLK4467
